Sale Golf Club, founded in 1913, is a well established parkland course with a standard scratch of 70.

The Clubhouse, the lodge of Sale Old Hall Circa 1830, is steeped in tradition and has a well-earned reputation for good food and hospitality. Famous for our ‘Open Champion’, Richard Burton, who was the last ‘Club Professional’ to win the Open Championship, we have been home to many great golfers including Joanne Morley, who played on the Ladies professional circuit.

Providing ‘year round’ play, the course is maintained to the highest standards using the latest equipment. Fairways and outstanding greens are amongst the best within the region, making this the perfect setting to enjoy a round of golf.

The Ideal Venue

Sale Golf Club provides a wonderful setting for your forthcoming wedding, birthday party, christening or special event. The function room is situated in our stunning clubhouse overlooking our perfectly manicured lawn and flower bed and has access to our lovely patio area.
