FREE Ladies Taster Sessions

On Saturday 10th June and Saturday 22nd July we will be hosting two FREE Ladies taster sessions.

The sessions will run from 9.30am - 11.30am and are open to ladies of all ages who would like to try golf.

Our Head PGA Professional Mike Stewart will be providing FREE coaching on the days with the help of some of our friendly lady members.

If you would like to attend, please give Mike a call on 0161 973 1730 to book your place.

All equipment will be provided, just ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing.

If you have any friends or know of anyone who might be interested, please let them know.

Family Open Day

We will be hosting our first Family Open Day on Monday 29th May.

The day will provide a great opportunity for people of all ages to come and see what Sale Golf Club is all about. 

There will be free coaching available, food and drink in the clubhouse, a fun putting competition for the kids and a 5 hole loop for people to play a few holes.

The day will run from 10am - 4pm with lots for all the family to enjoy.

Seniors Section Get together 2017 Results

The Seniors Section Get-together was played on the 28th March, on a lot drier course than we have seen in previous weeks.

We had 36 members signed up for the competition and they were pleased to play on some very good greens for this time of year,

They could all see the benefits of the hard work by the greens staff during the winter period.

Incredible Success for Sale Golf Club in 2016

Sale Golf Club are considering expanding their trophy cabinet after enjoying one of the most successful seasons in their 103 year history. As well as retaining the Men’s Mersey League title, the Ladies won the Mersey Shield with success also following in the Men’s Derbyshire and Cheshire League, the WGTB Trophy and the prestigious Manchester and District mixed golf Archie Preston and Hancock Trophies.
